International Development Month
Canada's International Development Week this year runs from February 7th - 12th, 2021. But here at GIDS, we wanted to give ID students and staff an entire MONTH full of ID-themed events, webinars and activities. With less than a decade until 2030, International Development Month is an ideal moment to reflect on how the UN's Sustainable Development Goals affect our realities both at home and abroad. This year’s International Development Month theme is “Go for the Goals,” with a focus on gender equality, health and climate change. Check out this month's event list below!

The Canadian Network on Humanitarian History and the Canadian Foreign Policy Institute will be hosting a webinar on Canada's International Development, "The trouble with Canadian Aid".
